I'm a member, although I don't post there much because they limit new members to posting only one post a day.

Without being able to contribute to more than one discussion a day, I tend to not go back much.

all you have to do is have five posts and then you can post all you want....they just do that to prevent annoying n00bs from coming in and filling every thread....

What can I say, we hate noobs.

(It's actually 2 posts a day now, though, and that's only up to your first 5 posts)

Ah, well, maybe I'll have to go hang out at the Criterion Forum some more. With all of the new announcements, and some great discs coming out, I'm sure the talk is lively this time of year.

It's one of the cooler and livelier places I know of to talk about films.

Although, I have to say, the discussion in the actual Criterion releases area of the site seemed a bit limited (the section that has a thread for each release). I've gone there before blind buys before and found the threads to be really "hit or miss" as far as good information goes.

Yeah, that was... interesting.

I'm also a member over at the Criterion Forums, and though it doesn't get as much traffic as it did back in the criteriondvd.com days, a lot of the old posters have signed up there, and it's a great place to discuss film (or lurk).

I'm a member there and didn't have to jump through any particular hoops to get in.
