If this SE is the same one released in EVERY OTHER REGION, it'll be the extended cut. Some have branching...some do not. Either way, they all have the extended cut. I seriously doubt they'd do something differently here. I've had the r3 for a couple of years. Good stuff.

ugh... headache
ok, i see the point of releasing the sequels individually where the SE only comes in the box. c'mon this is marketing 101, they know the sequels ain't gonna sell very well compare with the original (not to mention being an SE will add the customer's interest even more)... so, by making the SE available ONLY in the box, we (customers/fans) will have to get the sequels too... which improve the sales of the sequels....
ok... back to the original SE... so, it's uncut eh?

if the MSRP is $40 then thats a great deal in itself (even though it will probably sell for less than that). Its like buying 1 and 2 and getting the crappy third one for free. Im definately in.

I'll wait for a review to decide whether i want to hold on to my Criterion though. Better audio and video might make this worth an upgrade.

I'll have to think about this one. You have to buy the set in order to get the Robocop SE. The 2nd movie was OK and if I remember the 3rd one sucked. Since I have the Criterion, the only real reason to get this version is for the anamorphic theatricial version and the documentary.
Only chance is if I can get it real cheap around the $20-23 range.
