cool. I was under the impression that it would be out in the second half of the year since it will still be opening in theaters throughout summer in different locations. very cool.

Thanks for the info!

I saw it recently here in Dayton. It's very over-the-top cheesy, but I really enjoyed it.

Bruce Campbell fans should like it.

Hope it's true that the DVD is coming

This is awesome news! I love this movie. I sure hope that it really does get a commentary by Bruce Campbell as "the real Elvis" -- I can just imagine how much fun that will be!

Well that makes my day. I am a Bruce Fan, and the movie never came near me and I was about to go nuts to see it. Looks like it will arrive just in time to save me.

I read somewhere that Bruce Campbell recorded a commentary for this, in-character as Elvis.

I saw the film in theaters a few months ago and I thought it was okay. Nothing special. I did enjoy the preformances, especially Bruce Campbell as Elvis.

But then again, I'll rent (if not buy) the disc just to check out the Elvis commentary.

Yeah same here, even though the Official site has had "And coming soon to FAYETTEVILLE AR, ORLANDO FL, PHOENIX AZ"
I'll bet dollars to mummies that we get the DVD before BHT in the theater.

Well, from a certain perspective, BUBBA HO TEP is also about "The Return of The King" (lol). I went to see it in Sacramento this week, but about thirty minutes into the film the @#$%^&* projector broke down and we were refunded our money. I plan to see it (again?) this weekend. I liked what I saw, and also enjoyed Joe Lonsdale's novelette upon which it is based.
Best, Scott

Not only that, but Tucson DOES get it. Who made that decision?

Yes!!!!!! I feel fortunate that I was actually able to see this in the theater. Looking forward to adding this movie to my collection.

Now if only they would release Bruce Campbell's Jack of All Trades on dvd.

When I received my copy of the soundtrack in the mail there was an insert saying that the dvd was being planned for a May release, so this announcement is awesome news. I can't wait as this movie didn't come anywhere near me in it's theatrical run.
