I Love Lucy - It is .....?

Worth getting? I was thinking of getting the box set but was wondering if the show are in order or not in order. I've seen that the shows on the single dvd's don't go in order.

They are in order of production. The box set of Season 1 contains the same discs out seperately. Season 2 on will be box sets only and in smaller packaging. Good news.

This set is ridiculously priced and until it is more reasonable I certainly wont be buying it. I mean you can get the whole first season of Gilligan's Island for only 30 bucks and its spread over 3 discs. Frickin 90 dollars for Lucy? I love this show but I can also watch it like twenty times a day on like 6 different tv stations.

I Love Lucy was a seminal show in television and is rightly defined as a classic series. Each episode has been restored and there are tons of extras on the discs including entire episodes of Lucy's radio program. You are seriously comparing this with Gilligan's Island?

The second season is set for release this Spring. May I think.

The sets are overpriced. It isn't necessary to "compare" shows.
The only reason they charge so much for "Lucy" and "Star Trek" is because they can get away with it.

Yes, it will be released in much more compact packaging. Paramount listened to people's requests this time.
