From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
I don't understand this. If you already own the LE and the SB, why triple-dip for a simple repackaging?
Because I'd rather not have two DVDs of the same film. If there was a SB: Deluxe I could sell the other two. Plus, the LE is OOP, so if it gets scratched or otherwise ruined it'll be difficult and more expensive to replace.

I would've thought this to be obvious.

Nobody should watch any movie with incorrect color timing. If I were a dictator, I would make this a law.

Obvious to sell 2 DVDs just so you can re-buy the exact same thing? Uh.... okay

The studios must love you!

For people who have watched both the LE and SB, how much is there a difference in the sound? Is the DTS in the SB that much better than the DD in the LE version? I was quite content with my LE, but after looking at those screen shot comparisons, and finding out the SB had DTS sound, I may double dip.

I haven't compared the sound one against the other, but there are some incorrect music cues on the LE (music starts in the wrong spot during the attack on the train, if memory serves) that have been corrected on the Superbit.

As mentioned earlier on the thread, "In some scenes which used a combination of surviving original audio and newly recorded audio... there is poor equalization.

Two pieces of the score were improperly mixed, causing the sound to be wrongly placed."

For me, the equalization problem was a serious distraction. I had having to constantly adjust the volume during play.
