The gratuitous I just DVD Profiled my collection. Favorite DVD in Your collection?
so i just catalogued my dvd's..it's a small collection, but still took some time and feel like i am one of the DVD Talk peeps now. anyway, it is cool for me to see and know what i have in a listing like that.
So it got me thinking..what of all them is my favorite? I have to say.."The Killer: Criterion Collection". Not only is it rare and all that stuff, but it is just such a great movie and one of the first that turned me on to the foreign film scene, probably one of the first with subtitles. I love action and story and depth and it's got it all. That would be my fav...

Brazil: Criterion Collection -- it might be little more than a port of the Laserdisc box set, and it may be non-anamorphic, but it's my favorite movie and one of the most comprehensive set of extras ever produced.
I'm no homosexual, but I'd gladly bite a pillow to get the entire Gilliam ouvre released from Criterion in a similar manner. Here's hoping Columbia will license them Fisher King (again) and The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen (again). I still have my FK Criterion laserdisc, but it gets little play these days.

I'm thinking my current fave is the one I just made out of my davidlynch.com subscription. Woo, Rabbits on my TV in Pro Logic II... scary.
Either that, or Highlander SE, because it has the video to Queen's "Princes of the Universe," which I will pop in on random nights to annoy the hell out of my amigo. Song gets stuck in your head for days after that.
