Question on ALIEN commentary tracks
I just got the ALIEN Quadrilogy, and am naturally thinking of dumping my ALIEN LEGACY set, but are there any features on the earlier set not reproduced or improved in the more recent one? I notice, for example, that the commentary track for ALIEN has several of the filmmakers on the new disc, as opposed to just Ridley Scott on the earlier one. Is the earlier ALIEN worth keeping for the Scott solo commentary? Opinions?

Well the solo Scott commentary is really good...but most of what he talks about is either covered in the doc's or commentary...only real reason to keep the original Alien disc is for the alt. music and audio tracks...

Wild Yams has it right. Keeping the Alien disc from the first set gives you all the features that were not carried over. The Ridley solo commentary from the first set is GREAT, as is the new one with lots of people on the Quad set.
