Why did they have to put Melissa George and her f'd-up mouth on the cover?

I'd put Marshall or Sark on the cover before the nOOb cast member.

Too bad they can't put that gratuitous shot of her ass from last week's ep on the cover.

Nice cover indeed, consistent with previous seasons.

nemein - There's going to be a fourth season - it hasn't been announced yet but BuenaVista recently sold the syndication rights for 88 episodes.

And regarding season three - the show has been going downhill since the episode 'Phase One'. I still watch it because of Jennifer Garner but she's really the only reason to do so.

Of 2005. Not this year.

And the TNT deal covers all the episodes through the 5th season, but that does not guarantee that there is going to be that many seasons. ABC could cancel it tomorrow. (Although I do suspect that we'll get at least one more season out of it.)

It's hardly a spoiler to show a photo of a character who is in every episode of the season. By that logic, the photo of Lena Olin on the S2 set was also a spoiler.

For that matter, the photo of Sydney on the S1 box must also be a spoiler, since we don't know that she's the main character until the first episode starts.

We are talking about the company that gave away every plot twist at the beginning of the Season 2 set. Why would this surprise you?

It looks like there will be a fan commentary on at least one of the episodes in the season 3 set.

Tonight on the Karen Hand & Dr. Kelly Johnson show on Chicago's WCKG 105.9 FM, they will be having an Alias trivia contest. The winner gets to be part of a fan commentary for one of the episodes in season 3. Are there any other radio stations in other cities doing this?

A commentary with someone who's credentials are winning a local radio contest? Dear Lord... well, that's one extra I can safely skip past.

Doesn't Buena Vista produce Alias?

I actually think the cover art lookds good, the one piece of Alias news that has me mad is the fact that the show will not return until Feb 2005!

Hopefully this will give them some time to rework the show and recover from everything they mucked up in the current crappy season. Unfortunately, it looks like JJ Abrams will be spending a lot of time on his new series "Lost", which probably means even less involvement in Alias.

To clear up some things in this thread....

Season 4 of Alias starts in January 2005, while TNT will begin airing repeats of seasons1-4 starting September 2005.

S4 of Alias will be an uninterupted run - All 22 episodes will air in 22 consecutive weeks (mid Jan 2005 through mid June 2005).

It will still be on Sunday nights at 9.

Also, JJ Abrams does have a new show starting on ABC in the fall, its called Lost and it will be on Wednesdays at 8. I don't expect it to last past 10 episodes (its up against Smallville, That 70s Show, Enterprise, and I forget what else). So Abrams should be pretty focused by the time Alias is filming again.

According to ABC's officail website and qoutes from the writting staff the series will not be 23 episodes this season it will be 20 episodes, but 3 of the episodes (premire, finale, and a middle episodes) will be an extended episodes running 120minutes with commercails.

Also, JJ Abrams does have a new show starting on ABC in the fall, its called Lost and it will be on Wednesdays at 8. Yes Lost will be up against Smallville, but from what I have been reading 70s show is moving to Sundays, and Enterprise is moving to Friday, but nobody will be sure about that until 9am (EST) tomorrow morning.
