Go to www.borders.com and see if the site shows if the stores around you still have the title in stock. That's how I got mine this morning.

For those in NYC:
I walked into Borders on 32nd St and 2nd Ave (right next to Loews Kips Bay) and looked around for it in new releases. Didn't see it anywhere. A salesperson asked if she could help me find something, I told her Ed Wood came out on DVD today, and she said, "Sure, I'll get you one from the back." Two minutes later, I had it in my hands. I didn't even call ahead to put it on hold. The salesperson said they weren't putting them on the shelves because they only had two or three copies. Plus, it's on sale for $19.99.
I only bought one for myself, so the rest are up for grabs.
BTW, don't bother trying Kim's Video on St. Mark's. I went there after Borders and overheard someone ask for Ed Wood and the sales people just laughed at him and started b-tching about Disney.
Bottom line: Try Borders on 2nd Ave.

Scored a copy at the Bolingbrook, IL Borders. The Borders site did not list it in stock ehere but I checked anyway and they had a copy out. I guess their online data isn't entirely accurate.
PS-the menu screen on the R2 version is almost identical for those going region free...

I went to the Borders at SouthPark here in Charlotte and they didn't have any left or they were already pulled. The website says they have it in stock so I guess they were pulled by the time I got down there.

Pulled at the Tallahassee Borders, I'll report on BB soon.
BTW, there are already dozens of them on fleaBay. Buy-it-now ranges from $60 to $125.
