50 DVD Movie Megapacks
Does anyone own these:
http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2....q1E2fayEImas.Q
http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2....OG1EiozM.g49Mw
http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2....y_LgD8z9ip3sHA
They are only $17.00 each at Overstock.com right now. I know they are old and low budget movies that probably have terrible transfers and no special features, but for 50 movies each are they worth it?

In short, don't expect any miracles. But they are a great value.

Looks like they're still $27.98 at Overstock. I already got the 50-movie and the TV series boxes at Rite-Aid for $19.99 each a few weeks ago. I'm happy with them, and already got my money's worth in entertainment value from watching the old Dragnet episodes on the TV set, and Chaplin's "The Kid" in the movie set.
If the Horror pack shows up at Rite-Aid for $19.99, I'll get that as well.
What pisses me off about Overstock is that they claim the list price on these to be $250, which is total BS. The "regular price" at Rite-Aid is $29.99, and that's probably retail. Overstock never updates the real list price of lots of their DVDs, essentially lying about the % discount that you're getting.

This time I don't think it is the big O. I won't be surprise if treeline lists this as the retail, or "valued price", even though they aren't nearly worth that price. They probably figured with 50 movies @ $5 ea. was a good value indicator.
