F For Fake Criterion?
I don't know if anyone's heard about this, but Janus Films/Criterion is presenting a screening of Orson Welles' F For Fake at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood as part of their Welles tribute. Looks quite promising. I'd love to see this released by Criterion.
Here's a link to the schedule with info on the screening http://americancinematheque.com/arch...rsonwelles.htm

I sure hope this gets a release. I've been wanting to see it for years. That page also mentions "Brand New 35mm Print"
I'd also love to see FILMING 'THE TRIAL', FILMING 'OTHELLO', and THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH television pilot he made.

Just FYI... Criterion releaed this on laserdisc. So a DVD is definitely not out of the question (assuming they have the DVD distribution rights).

F FOR FAKE has long been rumored as a likely Criterion title, and Jon Mulvaney of the CC has stated the company plans to release "some Welles" in 2004.
