Seinfeld on DVD. IS THIS FOR REAL???

This is not a joke. But I came across a link Removed to the complete set of Seinfeld on 23 discs, with a 24th bonus disc of bloopers. The set is $230 and is region free (0). I called the company and asked about it and they said the company producing it is in the UK and has temporary rights to it, until it comes to stores if it ever does. He said if it does come to stores, then this company will lose its rights to produce it. They are commercial free, and sound like they are professionally produced. They have a picture of the set, but it is too small to see anything.

Has anyone ever heard of this?

Seems very strange that they only carry DVDs of shows not currently released on DVD to me...

Bootlegging? Sure, most of us have heard of that.

Seriously, this stuff about 'temporary rights' is pure B.S. Seinfeld is a multi-million dollar property. They don't grant distribution to such programs to people running web sites out of their apartment.

It's a boot. And so are the others on the site.

So since it is a boot, then the link should be removed from mike's post.
