BEAN: THE MOVIE question...
Any news of a reissue of BEAN: THE MOVIE? I know that Universal released it not too long ago, acquired from Polygram, but it's the same old LD, non-anamorphic transfer. Anyone?

The VHS special edition (available in pan and scan and 1.85:1 widescreen editions) included a 20+ minute featurette before the start of the film with the director and Rowan Atkinson introducing all the footage they cut from the film. Some very funny moments were deleted, including a few with Bean in England before he left for the states.

Some of what they showed was actually just brief snippets of deleted material, so I'm assuming that there's actually a great deal more than 20 minutes of deleted material. I don't think they ever flat out say, though.
