I usually buy mainstream releases at Best Buy. I never buy Criterions from BB; always from amazon.com.

Usually it's between Best Buy and Circuit City for new releases I want during the first week. Everything else, I wait until there's a price drop or I look for it used either at Hollywood Video or Amazon.

Best Buy. The circuit city closest to me sucks, as do the wal-marts. The best buy is pretty decent.

90% from Columbia House

5% from online retailers for DVDs that CH does not carry:
DDD, Ebay, Walmart, etc.(whoever has the best price)

5% from FYE (only the DVDs that I am too impatient to have shipped to me)

Have to agree with the statement about Tony..excellent service!!...used them numerous of times and goods are usually received here in the UK within 4-5 days!

I generally use either DVD Pacific or CDWow for my R1 needs..for my domestic R2's i tend to use either Amazon.UK or Play.com

Wherever the sales are!

New releases I can't wait to get, I'll get at BB or Walmart.

I'll use Amazon for new Criterions so I can take advantage of Share the Love.

I use DDD mainly for smaller stuff and for older Criterions that I can no longer get love for. They also have a large selection of of affordable titles that I can't ever find at either local B&M's or via Columbia House.

I've just completed my first Columbia House account and was very pleasantly surprised as to how easy and fast it was. I won't ever do another BB or Circuit City 2 for $10 ever again as these older titles are still cheaper using Columbia House.

Costco - for boxed sets or whenever they have good deals. Their boxed sets always seen to be $10 cheaper than other B&M's.

There you have it.

DDD (if I can wait - excellent prices, long wait - 10 days+)

Overstock (best price on Star Trek TNG Sets)

For new releases, who ever;s got the lowest price or the best combo deal (Best Buy/Circuit City/Target/WalMart)

For catalog releases, Borders and to a lesser extent, Fry's. BB has really backed off catalog titles it seems and the title selection at Borders is great. I also find their prices to be competitvive ($14.99 for $19.99 MGM/Warner/Paramount titles; $9.99 to $12.99 for MGM/Universal titles is as good as or sometimes better than Best Buy) Borders also has the on-line inventory check (which can save time) and there always seems ot be a coupon floating around if you look hard enough (and I've never been hassled by a Borders sales associate).

FOr online orders: DDD and Amazon (ncluding its overseas divisions for foreign releases)
