Anyone subscribe to Niche Flix?

Sounds like a great way to finally rent (and not purchase import non-R1 titles, my wallet took a beating this past X-mas). But I am not that keen on the fact that there is really not alot of pertinent info/membership rates, etc accessible on the home page (makes me kind of wary). Anyway... anyone here have a membership, am very curious to hear opinions on this new online rental service.

A further question: does anyone know what kind of licensing / permits, etc., are necessary for offering rentals?

I was looking at it last night. Not NEARLY enough things available to get me interested (and I'm a BIG buyer of R2 PAL etc titles). I'll let them establish themselves first before looking again.

There's a thread about it here http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=338673

I'll probably try it sometime next week.

Hey - if they have three or four I'm interested in, that's twenty bucks a month renting versus eighty bucks in blind buys.

I'm definitely trying this.

whats the turn around, I doubt it's as fast as netflix, there are so many titles I want to rent, I wish I didn't know about it 25 bucks a month plus netflix, thats a lot of money to spend on DVD rentals, maybe when I get a real job

I'm trying it for the trial, but the number of titles available isn't nearly enough to keep me on past two weeks.
