Its a great dvd. I rented it from Blockbuster and was quite impressed. Unfortunately, I turned off the dvd after 45 mins as it was boring me to death...

I bought T3 used a few weeks ago. Watched the movie once and haven't thought about going back to rewatch it or to explore the extras on the discs.

I won't buy any more versions, it would just sit on my shelf unopened as a reminder to me of 15 dollars or so I could have spent elsewhere.

Same with Daredevil, Matrix, and every other movie that's supposed to get a great new SE.

I own the current 2 disc T3 DVD. The picture quality and sound are excellent already, and is usually the disc I showcase my HT with. The only difference another release would make would be more/better extras and DTS sound. The Dolby Digital is already fantastic, yet I agree that the extras aren't that great. I say go ahead and open your DVD and enjoy it!

I'm thinking about it. Just wanted to make sure something better wasn't just right around the corner.

I like the current version of T3 (dvd and movie). I would probably only consider buying another edition, if it was an extended cut of the film.

I say if you either didn't like the current cut of the movie, or 13 bucks is such a big deal that the release of an even better cut of the movie and/or new documentaries---probably at least a year away---will bend you out of shape, take it back.

If you like the movie (which you must, otherwise why buy it?) and 13 bucks isn't the end of the world (if it is, then don't take this the wrong way, but you might want another hobby. There will never be a DEFINITIVE, end-all release of anything) then I would ignore all of these thread-crappers and enjoy my purchase.

I got the current one for $8 and am happy with it. Unless they release it with a bunch of extra scenes, I won't buy a reissue.

No double dipping for me also.

My son and I (wife and daughter do not love Sci-Fi as much) have enjoy the movie many time over the past month or two.

Enjoy life today, you may not have tomorrow.

This might be a double-dip for me. I'll have to wait and see/hear how the DVD is.

That's the only thing I am worried about, and the only reason I would pick up the re-release. Other than that I am pretty satisfied with this DVD.

I've cutback on my DVD buying habit. So if it takes till Dec i'm fine with it. I think it will take longer than that though.

unless it has over 20 minutes of unreleased footage added into the movie, then no. It's fine on it's own.

Well, its sitting right in front of me here, still sealed. Maybe I'll just leave it that way until I want to watch it.

INSANE :-)!!! We are not talking about driving a new car off the lot here... it's a $12 DVD! I think it's a fun film, so pop that sucker in your DVD player and enjoy....

I"m not going to get it even if there is a so called better version. The movie wasn't all that anyway.

This is the reason I'm holding out on SE versions of movies. I don't care to double dip and I don't need to have movies immediately after release.

I would be very interested in seeing what a new version of this DVD would have...I was very impressed with the upgrade the T2 movie received, though I didn't triple dip with the ultimate edition.
I don't mind double dipping here and there...
