Statistics for DVD exchanges?

I got Indy in fullscreen for Christmas. When I returned it at Best Buy, there was an endless supply of fullscreen and not a single widescreen copy. This made me wonder: are there any sorts of statistics of how many FS DVDs were exchanged for WS?

they probably started out with a larger supply of fullscreen to begin with, knowing best buy. i'd be interested too in this number, but i doubt if it exists. i suspect that it's a pretty complex thing to track.

I douby they'll track something like that. They probably just track total sales.

With all the debate about WideScreen vs. FullScreen, you would think someone is tracking the sales of each.

Every movie that comes in separate widescreen and full screen releases, we always get tons more widescreen than full screen. So, yeah, whatever.
