They were thinking they already had an NTSC master of this SE so rather than create another...just release the special edition that was released in other regions and spend no more money on it. And btw...let's get rid of that DTS track and not give them any more money either.

The Splash disc looks great. The picture was quite good for a movie this old. The commentary is fairly entertaining, the audition tapes are definitely worth watching and the doc was better than most.

I am very happy with the disc, especially with the free Ladykillers ticket, making the disc a real steal! Glad Disney did right by this title (the first Touchstone movie ever apparently)... it's too bad they didn't give Ransom the respect it deserved.
