What are some good DVD magazines?
DVDEtc.
Which else?
I'm looking more news on new and old DVDs than on home theaters and accessories. Pretty much as much focus on actual DVDs as it can.

Movie FX Video Magazine is a DVD magazine and is pretty interesting. You can sign up for a subscription at MovieFXMag.com. I don't think this is what you meant but some others might be interested once they check out your thread.

me too...I like Widescreen reveiw...it's just heavily gear related. they do dig pretty deep into dvd info though.
I dont really read many "DVD" mags...just mags which feature film info along with some great reveiws of dvds...but nothing thats 100% dvd.
Video Watchdog is my personal fav. I also depend on and subscribe to:
Asian Cult Cinema
Filmfax
Outre
Scarlet Street

Frankly, I think you're better off with DVD Talk and a couple of the other better Web sites than with any DVD magazine. If you read this site (along with Home Theater Forum, Davis DVD, etc.) enough, you'll probably find most of the news in the DVD magazines will be old by the time you get your issue.

I work the overnight shift at a call center, which means I have 5-6 hours free a day for whatever I want. I'm always looking for stuff to read at work (we don't have Internet access at work).
