I seem to recall it being mentioned at some point but I can't find the info. Of course, it could just be wishful thinking.

I know nothing's been officially announced.

(When Bill Murray gets nominated and eventually wins the Academy Award this year, it seems more likely that someone might get on the ball.)

Great flick though.

I haven't heard anything, but it's high on my wishlist. I don't think this title has been released in region so far.

I too have not heard any info on this title. It's on my top 10 list though.

I attended a Q&A in Sept. where Bill Murray was asked about a release of Quick Change and he had no idea about, nor any plans for, a release.

A wonderful film. A crime that it's not on DVD. Murray has never been better -- and that's saying something.

("...and that's right here, in area code 212...?")

...so what...?... are you afraid of reviews that are critical of movies...?... a lot of people on this board seem to not want to hear 'the other side'... I wonder why...

Who says I wanted a review at all...? I say it's a wonderful film. Me! Y'know: Erm!

I mean, Peter Freakin' Travers...? Last time I saw him (sometime in the summer of '97, I think) he was on a three-week 'shrooms binge, where all he could bring himself to do was sip from a Big Gulp cup and watch Willy Wonka over and over in a continuous loop.

He even tried showing me his...uh... everlasting gobstopper, if you know what I mean. Which is when I beat feet.

Nah (again). Good, bad, doesn't matter. Your style of posting elicited my response. As in "I've been running into your posts a lot more than usual these past few days and thought 'what an interesting idiosyncratic way of making his points.'"

Not that, it just seems like you always post negative reviews. Do you hate every film ever made or something? That's the impression I get.

And what's wrong with just saying you liked it or hated it or something in between.

I for one think it's one of the funniest movies ever made and will definitely be getting the dvd when released.

"What the hell kind of clown are you?
The crying on the inside kind, I guess. "

"This ain't my dick in your back!
That's a relief."

"Ten thousand dollars for a taxi!
And a blow job!"

"Is that our plane?
No, if it were our plane, it would be crashing."

With all the crap being released on DVD, why can't they give us something good like "Quick Change?" What a terrific little picture.

This is one of those titles I looked for when I first started collecting.

I remember being sadly disappointed to find out it wasn't available.

I will pee my pants if it gets released.
