mods, i didn't know whether or not this fit here or in the otter farm, so feel free to move it.

i saw this in the paper yesterday and thought that everyone around here might get a chuckle:

I'm tired of arguing this point. Newline told us up front. We have a choice.

And even if a studio didn't, we're nearly seven years into the format, the learning curve ain't that steep. DVDs get double dipped. Live with it.

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't even think of any one particular studio when I saw the cartoon. But then again, I also don't own any American Pie or LOTR DVDs.

Far more relevant. Who in God's name keeps buying those movies? They're immature and juvenile, and not the funny kind of immature and juvenile either.

Yeah, I don't particularly understand how Universal's number crunchers believe these releases are financially viable. I'd kinda like to see those books.
