"Amelie"/Onkyo conflict?
I recently bought an Onkyo DV-SP301 DVD player and have only played a few discs in it. Last night, I tried watching "Amelie" and the only audio track that would play was the director's commentary. (The same disc works fine in an X-Box, by the way.) I tried the "Audio" button, of course, but the only audio track it would acknowledge is the commentary track. Typically on this player, it will tell you which track you're playing (1/4 or 3/3 for example). But on this one the Onkyo thought there was only one audio track. I tried turning the player on and off, took the disc out and put it back in, but nothing worked.
Thoughts on this? It's not too late for me to exchange the player if this is a known problem with it. I like the player otherwise though and it's supposed to be a pretty good one.
(By the way, if this should be in the hardware section, I hope a moderator will move it...)

Many discs attempt to lock-out changing audio tracks on the fly and different players react differently. Did you try selecting the track directly from the menu before starting the feature?

OK, I admit it: I'm stupid. I went into the commentary feature and was able to turn it off that way. Just didn't go deep enough into the menus.
Still annoying that the commentary track would be the default, but I'm going to hope this is a problem with just this one particular disc, given that I do like the Onkyo player and rather not return it.
