Bad Boys 2 Problem

My copy started becoming "blocky" during the video store scene. It also has this look during the Bad Boys 2 trailer on disc 1. Looks like I have to return it tommorow but I was curious if it's just my copy or not. Thanks.

Darth,

Can you please provide us with the brand and model of the player you experienced these problems on?

This problem occurs on my Toshiba SD3800. I just tested the disc on my two Sony dvd players as well as my X-box and nothing was wrong with it.

I would have thought the problem with Bad Boys 2 was that you actually bought it...

DarthMaul - don't worry about trying to help these people. I love the fact that someone can start a thread to inform people that a disc might not work on a certain player and gets nothing but smart-assed disrespect and thread craps in return. Thanks for the information though. I have a Toshiba and will rent before buying to see if i have the same problem.

Seriously. What's with you people? The guy posted something that may just help some people out. And we get responses like:

"I would have thought the problem with Bad Boys 2 was that you actually bought it..."

Wow, thanks QuiGonJackass. You really contributed to the community with that one.

Agreed - this post had nothing to do with the content of the film.

Start another thread of you want to trash the movie - Darthmauls post was perfectly reasonable.

And Freshticles - read posts properly before you jump all over them - Darth did not say he watched BB1, but was referring to the BB2 trailer on disc 1.

I though it was an innocent comment by both members just trying to be funny....no harm....why get all bent out of shape over it...this thread spent more time complaining about two sentences then what the thread was intended for.

hey darth, if i ever get "blocky" picture it means that my dvd lens is dirty, i have a panasonic 5disc dvd changer, i've used a lens cleaner twice in two years, and it solves that problem

duy37, thanks for the tip! I will try a lens cleaner and see what happens. After finding out that the disc works on my other players I became worried that my Toshiba may be on it's last legs. I am curious if I am the ony one who is having this problem with the 3800 model? This dvd is the only one I have tried that has this effect.

BTW: Some people must like drawing negative attention to themselves. Congrats. Thanks to everyone else though.
