Okay, finally got around to breaking in my Golden Collection. With great excitment I put in the Bugs disc. Opening menu came up, with the theme music blaring in the background. I dutifully hit "Play All," and the first cartoon started.

No sound.

I went back to the menu to see if there is some sort of audio option I have to select, but there is none that I can see. Same deal with the Daffy disc.

Am I an idiot? What am I doing wrong, or what am I leaving undone? Why can I hear the sound on the menu, but absolutely no sound when I leave the menu?

Anyone?

That's odd. I just started watching my Golden Collection last night on my new laptop and had no problems at all.

First, try this disc in another player/DVD rom.
If it works you know the problem is in your setup and not the discs.

Perhaps a button on your reciever was bumped and you're in a different "mode" like Phono or something.

Or maybe something tugged an audio cable out. Or your optical is loose.

Overall, I really don't know what your trouble is, but maybe these will help if you haven't already tried them.
