Buzz Lightyear/ Star Command new DVD's?

My son is crazy about Buzz. It airs 2x everyday on the Disney Toon channel. I was wondering if there was any info on releasing this series on DVD. We have the film now what about the series? There are more than enough episodes to warrant a season set IMHO.

Any info anyone?

Thanks

Nothing is coming, and I don't expect anything ever will... sorry.

I'm not really sure, you'd have to ask Disney about it, but I can speculate as to the reason...

Seasont Sets of animated kids' series only get released if there is a big enough adult audience to warrant it (ala Spongebob). The single discs are also geared towards adults, but only in a "buy this for your kids" sort of way. Unfortunately, Buzz doesn't exactly have a huge adult audience so season sets aren't likely.

However, I imagine some single disc releases could come out, but there's nothing on Disney's release schedule for the next 4 months or so. Beyond that, who knows, but I imagine Disney would put out discs of some of their newer series like Lilo & Stitch, Kim Possible, etc before doing anything for Buzz.

I could always be wrong, but in this case I'd adopt a "don't expect much" policy so if anything does happen, you'll be blown away with joy.
