Escape From New York S.E. custom...
Just messing around with one. I'm looking forward to this release, so I thought I would start toying with ideas now....

Here's a second version, which is a bit more standard for a cover.

As for the red hue, I really dont have any idea. Must just be a combination of filters. I do know when I created the initial concrete texture, I added noise, but I had the monochrome unchecked, so that would be the only way red would have gotten in there. If it's strictly monochrome it comes off more like steel. I can easily change the hue of it though....I have a whole month to tweak here and there.

second one will be the one i'll download. but i think the red time indicator from the first one should be on the second one. that would make it perfect.
Good Job Darth!!!!!!!!!!!

looks very nice...
but just a suggestion:
i think for the front cover, the #1 pic works best BUT if you can use the RED titles from the #2 pic, it would be allot better... or maker it glowing red (like burning/hot)
& use dark gray or engraved look for the "special edition" instead of red
that way, the title will look more contrast & the SE won't stick up from the title
for the back cover, #2 works better (with original snake's poster)
BUT if you can (might be hard to do), you can the back cover as if it was a thorn old poster on the wall... like those old western "wanted: dead or alive" poster with the #1 pic's background texture
that way, the cover (both front & back) will looks like a bright/concrete look... it reminds me of Robocop: CC
hope u got the idea
just my 2 cent

great job BTW

Look for updates soon (I'm a little under the weather at the moment...) The Robocop: CC was my inspiration for the concrete cover, I love that look of it.

looks GREAT!
