Guzzlefish question
How long does it take a new release to get posted in Guzzlefish's database? I haven't been able to locate the Quadrilogy in it as of yet...

Depends. Most of the time it is in there by the time the movie comes out. Just submit the title to them to make sure they're putting it in.

These guys are horrible for this kind of stuff. They have a nice website and setup but they dont update very often. Case in point, I sent an Image of Brotherhood of the Wolf 3disc Canadian release, and they never bother posting it. If u add the title to your list you'll see it sans picture. For the longest time too they didnt have a pic for Catch ME If You Can. After a few months one finally appeared. I wouldn't count on seeing the Quadrilogy for quite some time.

From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
There are a LOT of Criterions, especially those released in the past year, that aren't tagged as a Criterion.
These guys obviously do not have their shit together.

That's why I don't really rely on these online services for accuracy. They're only as good as the people maintaining them and if the administrators are going to be lax about updating/correcting titles (something you have no control over), why invest the time or energy?

Catch Me If You Can now has a picture. It's been like that for a while.. however, as I stated previously, it did not have one even a few months after its release.
From an Aesthetic point of view, Guzzlefish has the competition beat, however its their database thats crap!

From: Right now, my location is DVDTalk, but then again, you should already know that, shouldn't you?
Well, good to see everyone else having the same problem (at least so I don't feel singled out)--I submitted U2 GO HOME: LIVE FROM SLANE CASTLE, IRELAND the day it came out and still nothing...you can't imagine my ire when I type "Slane" in the search field and only come up with Bryan Adams' ugly punk ass face...

The people who run the site are going to be AWOL until at least January. Currently the only updates going through are the automated ones from the Muze subscription service, which is where they get the majority of their listings. But obviously Muze does miss titles on occasion, and does not list any international discs.
All manual submissions or updates are on hold until next year. It's frustrating, yes.
