I got the same email today. Unfortunate that so many already ordered using the USA Today code, but who knew? Now, if everyone used the DVDTalk link, is it basically the same as using the DVDTalk code?

I know I'm holding off until next week when Alien Quadrilogy is ready to grab.

Thanks for the info on the coupon! I only wish we could use it for preorders but I'm sure DDD wants to show some sort of profit from this. Guess I'll cancel the Alien preorder from Amazon and pick up the Tuesday releases with this coupon. DS9 S7 will end up being about $76 which is a great price.

I think what the poster above was asking was it seems like you can only use the usatoday code only once. I think he was asking could you use usatoday once and on a totally seperate order use the dvdtalk code.

Yes, that is what I was asking since I already used the Usatoday code I was wondering if the Dvdtlak code would work on another separate order since they are both 20% off. DDD might say you can only use 1 of any code for 20% off.

I couldnt really find anything else I wanted right now anyways.

I would love to know this as well. If anyone who has already used "usatoday", trys the "dvdtalk" code, please let us know.

Great deal! DDD is awesome (I thought this before the 20% off).

I took this opportunity to buy things I had been putting off (some have been on my want list a LONG time but never got around to them).

THE MUMMY COLLECTION (WIDESCREEN) $20.40

The answer appears to be YES. I already made a usatoday order and if I put that code in, it immediately tells me I've already used that coupon. But if I put in the dvdtalk code, it accepts it and takes 20% off what is in the basket. Maybe there is a secondary check at payment time, but I'm going to wait for alien and alias release date before going that far.

Picked up the following:

THE DECALOGUE 1 $38.38
EISENSTEIN: THE SOUND YEARS (CRITERION) 1 $46.04
ADVENTURES OF INDIANA JONES (LBX) 1 $35.43
MONTY PYTHON'S MEANING OF LIFE 1 $13.99
--------------------------------------------------------
Tax: $0.00
Shipping Price: $0.00
Order Total: $133.84

With the 20 percent, they are the cheapest in town by far. I particularly suggest criterions and box sets, most notably the criterion box sets.

Instead of a signature link to dvdtracker, laserdogg might as well just use the link for Amazon!

The question is if they'll honor both coupons not if you can use them.

And to whoever asked earlier, DDD has realtime inventory, if an item goes OOS it's removed from their website.

I'm not so sure. I've ordered many items that were on Backorder immediately, including half my order last night.

They might take things off their home page when they go OOS, but they're still on the site. I noticed that happened with Honeymooners Classic 39. My order status showed a two-week delay as soon as it appeared.

That's interesting. Maybe you placed an order just as it was going OOS?

All the items I've looked for that they didn't have weren't even listed. I've never seen an item with a "Backordered" description.
