The discounts just disappeared on me. As did the coupon code field.

Never mind, logging in and back out fixed it.

Seems to work differently for different people. For me and some others it only appeared after logging out. It may depend on how your browser handles cookies. (Just a guess.)

They did raise the price on many titles. In fact, the dvd Lipstick, with an msrp of 9.95, is priced 13.56 and showing an msrp of 19.99. hell, digitaleyes.net has it for 7.99.

Also, as a sidenote....the original price DDD had it for was $9.36 according to dvdpricesearch.com. Something smells fishy!

Thanks a bunch! I ordered X-Men 2 and Once Upon a Time in the West. Also keep in mind that Warner is doing the buy 2 get 1 free on their 2 disk SEs. That means that you can get them for around $16 each with the coupon and get one for free plus $3.25 shipping after you buy 2. So I guess it would be around $35 for Casablanca, Adventures of Robin Hood, and Treasure of the Sierre Madre. I also recommend picking up Rebecca CC if you haven't already. Its a great dvd at a good price and I believe it is soon to be OOP. There are lots of good deals though.

Has anyone actually tried? Would be handy for those that want a break on the Quadrilogy.

I just tried. This message appears above the coupon field:

"You have already used that promotion code."

I tried it and it said cannot be used on preorders. Since it is good until the 5th, why not just wait?

Use it or lose it I always say. Remember, DDD has realtime stocking, and I suspect lots of stuff will go OOS with this deal, or they could pull the coupon if it gets too hot.

There are two reasons why I am impatient:

1. There are many other dvds that I would like to pick up while they are still in stock (~10-15).

2. There is a possibility (albeit a slim one) that the deal will no longer be valid by that time.

I might just order the rest and say bollocks to the Quatrilogy.

Some suggestions:

Strangers with Candy Season 1 -- around $13
Upright Citizens Brigade Season 1 -- around $13
Twin Peaks Season 1 -- $17

Same exact thing happened for Dragonslayer. I wanted to pick it up. I remember it being $9.36. I was thinking DDD with 20% off. It'd be nice, but they raised the price 45%. 20% off it's still $10.85.

I just picked up Seasons 1,2 and 3 of Beastmaster for $57.57 total.

ADV titles are especially cheap- I wish I hadn't purchased Andromeda S1 box for $40, because it's $33.60 now. A great deal

I tried to order Beatles: Anthology, and I keep getting a Cold Fusion error. Makes me glad I pushed for Java at work a few years ago, when we piloted our first web app. This is inexcusable in this day and age.
