Which version of "Man With A Movie Camera?"
I'd like to pick up a copy of Vertov's "Man With A Movie Camera." There are DVDs out by Image and Kino. Anyone know which one is the superior product?

I'm also extremely pleased with the Alloy Orchestra score on the Image release (which also has a nice commentary, as I recall).
Haven't bought the new Kino to compare.
This review briefly compares the two, and concludes about the Nyman score (Kino):

Compared to the Image release, which features the original score performed by the Alloy Orchestra, it's impossible to pick a winner. True admirers will want both. The two prints are roughly comparable and the respective scores too unique and precious each in their own right

I will say this: the Alloy score is much better. The Nyman score is either mostly or entirely recycled from existing compositions and is far more repetitive and doesn't fit the film as well.
