Whats the latest buzz on HD-DVDs???

Hi! Whats the latest info on HD-DVDs out there? I'm sure they will replace the DVD format now that we know of. I'm guessing classic movies are unable to be upgraded to High Def format. I understand the players are/will be able to play non HD-DVDs too. Thanx on any info

Nuttin' much to report. But for now, go ahead and double the price of any current movie, and that's what it will cost for an HD-DVD version.

Two years later, expect another format.

jesus people...whats the rush? you'll be waiting a while. it's only going to benefit a handfull of films for me....so my current dvd library will be the base of my collection for many years to come. unless they fall apart. if they do...so will HD-DVD's. why? because if you dont take the time to perfect the current format(quality control issues), the next will suffer the same fate. so slow down...do things right now...then dream of yer future.

IMHO

LOL....well High Def is right around the corner and comin in so I think people buying HD tvs and receiving HD channlels might be a lil more anxious to wanting HD DVDs. Wouldnt you want that GREAT picture if you had the HD set up
