Great news, even though I've probably seen each of these a half dozen times in syndication!
The lack of participation from Lovitz is disconcerting, however. I wonder what happened. It's not like he's doing a lot of work these days. He had the time. IMHO, The Critic was his best work and it's certainly the thing I most remember him for (that and the radio in Brave Little Toaster...jk).

Dvdfile.com reported today that there will be no special features on this set. Can we just assume they are wrong?

I mean, look at how the paragraph starts: (bolding is mine)
Rounding out the lineup are three new TV on DVD releases: The Critic: The Entire Series (a 3-disc set) and Dilbert: The Complete Series (4 discs).

Actually, I've found them to be pretty reliable. But they seem to have dropped the ball on this one. Has anyone emailed them with the correct info?

I haven't. If I e-mailed them every time I saw an error on their site, I'd never get anything else done.
If anyone's e-mailing them, you might also want to mention that Legally Blonde 2 isn't really 480 minutes. Although maybe it seems like it.

The press release below clearly mentions "Short Film: Web-i-sodes" among its supplements. It's difficult to interpret what this means exactly. Will it be all 40 minutes compiled into one "short film"? Will it be some of them, rather than all of them? We're just not sure here, and Columbia was unable to respond to our queries about this prior to our deadline. Rest assured we will get as much information as we can about this, and update our release listing with all that we find out. So stay tuned, and keep your eye on that listing!

Saw it on the shelf of a local store today. I have to hand it to Sony. After years of seeing sanctimonious critics blurbs on the covers of DVD's, this one comes right out and proclaims the DVD's suckiness. Right on the cover it says "it stinks!". At least potential buyers unfamiliar with the show will know what a crapfest "The Critic" was when they pick it up.
