Its funny. This movie was once oop on dvd.... going for a lot on ebay and there was hype about a new dvd. Unfortunately, the only thing released was a re-release of the barebones anchor bay dvd.

This along with dawn of the dead are my favorite zombie and horror movies ever. Hopefully one day, both movies will see a really good dvd release (preferably in the next year!)

Shriek Show/Media Blasters was set to release this movie, under the proper European title of "Zombi 2," back in August, but pulled the DVD off the their schedule. Not sure why, it's either a rights issue, or they just needed more time to get the disc right. They also yanked some other titles off of their release schedule, too, so we can --fingers crossed-- expect them to be released eventually.

I'll go for the "get the disc right". they can take all the time they want. SS/MB may be wising up a little.

Legal issues (w/ Zombi 2).

Shriek Show is hoping to have it out by next summer.

This comes from Shriek Show's John Sirabella:
