I really enjoyed the movie.

My parents went to Italy last year and I took them to see this. During the movie they kept saying "We've been there!" out loud over and over.....it got a bit embarrassing.

Oh well...they enjoyed it too.

Definite buy for me.

Diane Lane was up for a Golden Globe for Best Actress for this last night. Great performance in a really good movie.

As much as I love and adore our dear Ms. Lane, I think this is a bit of a light-weight role for her and as such not really deserving of a major award nomination. There's nothing here for her to really to sink her teeth into; just a nice character in a nice movie.

I think that Toscana is the *real* star of this movie. Viva Italia!

Very entertaining and highly recommended.

I agree... she is hot. I'm glad she is getting the recognition and fame now that she deserves.

Apparently, there is a hilarious "easter egg" on the DVD. Did you find it? What is it?

I just watched my copy and loved the movie a whole lot, but I can't find the rumored Easter Egg to save my life. Anyone? Help a girl out here. I am literally the worst at finding Easter Eggs in the whole wide world.

I am so sorry I missed this in the theaters. It must have been so beautiful on the big screen as opposed to just my big screen tv.

O.K. Go to the BONUS FEATURES page. Then click down to where it says REGISTER YOUR DVD. With REGISTER YOUR DVD highlighted - click LEFT and the flower pot will now be highlighted. Click on the flower pot and there you are.

Yeah. It was pretty amazing on a big screen. The films intimacy enables it to be effective on a smaller screen as well though. The scenery (and Diane Lane) are beautiful.

Let me know if you still have trouble finding the Easter Egg.

I saw this movie last night and it was better than I thought it was going to be. This movie makes me want to go to Italy and buy a house.

Thanks for the help with the Easter Egg. That was hysterical, especially since it didn't cross my mind that would possibly happen. That was a good Easter Egg.
