I must admit, I used to resent Sofia Coppola for ruining Godfather III. In hindsight, it was as much her father's fault as hers. It got me thinking, if she performed better in that role, might she have become an actress instead of a director? And so, are Virgin Suicides, LIT and any of her future movies worth a bad Godfather III? I think yes.

From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
You people are putting way too much emphasis on a young girl's underwear.
Oh wait, what am I saying?
Anyway, since there's no commentary track, I guess we'll have to see if it's addressed in the interviews or making-of doc.
Is there any behind-the-behind footage on there?

Scarlett was on Conan O'Brien a while back, and they talked about how in the opening of the film she is in her underwear. She said that Sofia tried them on first, and Scarlett said they weren't that bad so she ended up wearing them in the film.
