Well after reading some of the replies I guess I will no longer go to the movies I mean I should just use that money and get the dvd when it comes out. Also better never rent a movie and see if I like it I can use that cash to buy the movie. I mean the things I listed may be seen as wasting money being as it will just lit me see it before the dvd comes out. Man sure allot of jealous folks in this thread. Also people saying I want to save money blah blah. Well I think it's a waste of money to have speakers that are bigger then you're damn TV and a sub that is damn 4 feet tall. I mean how damn big are peoples house for god sakes?! What is wasting money to one man may seem like money well spent to someone else.

I got no idea why anyone would say the guy wasted his money. So to the guy who made this thread I want to thank you very much for showing off the art on the discs and stuff. I'd be happy to see future pictures of things you get before they come out.

Well not quite "in hand" yet, but on it's way . . . DDD sent me an email saying that my TTT EE gift set was mailed out today . . . I may actually get a pre-order early for once! Woo-hoo!!!

I'm a little bummed - my copy of TT:EE is kind of smashed up in the spine (the fold-out, not the slip-case) and I really have to shake the case to get it out. Also, the insert's pages weren't glued together well and it all fell apart.

Exchange it for an undamaged copy. That bites.

No, the guy that gave it to me, sold it to me at his cost of $22. I'd feel bad asking for another.

I'm glad to say that my copy arrived today 11/13 from the online retailer that I purchased it from for $29.99, I sure if I waited a few weeks I could get it cheaper but I won't care tonight when I'm enjoying it.

can anyone say exactly whats on the 5th disc in the gift set? I'm really torn this time around on getting it or not, last time it was a no brainer the bookends kicked ass but the gollum statue is no biggie.

I know how to read, learn how to answer questions. I told you where I was located, & asked you 4 times, once even through email where you are located & you have yet to answer. I told you locations to meet, I even run a retail store so you could have stopped in there & you did not reply to those. You state the only reason you won't give out the name of the store is b/c people will "hate" on it. I have no interest in hating on anything & you can give me the store name through email so what is your excuse? I ask again where is the store or at the least where is it located. Just email it to me if you don't want to post it.

I can attest that issues is not a troll and is not lying. I went to the same store (which i wont mention) and was able to get Xmen 2 ( they had LOTR, but i had gotten that 2 weeks ago in NYC.) Stop calling people trolls just because they dont want to cut off their source of early dvds.

First off, I didn't call "people" trolls, I said one person might be & I said I did not mean to offend him when I posted it. Second off, if you guys are so uptight about revealing the name of the store, then why come on here & say you got this at a store in N.J. Just say you got the dvds early & end it at that if it means that much to you not to reveal this big secret store. I'm just a DVD fan like you guys, if someone in your area said they went to a store right by you & got something before street date but then refused to tell you where the store is, wouldn't that bother you just a little? THEN issues offered to meet people & get the DVD for them, I took him up on that & he never replied. So I think the conlusion I came to is pretty reasonable.

So I'll ask you instead of issues, just email me the name of the store. I have no interest in ruining the place for you, I get DVDs 3 weeks before street date all the time in NYC, but if this can save me a trip I'm all for it. Just email me the store, you guys are making a WAY bigger deal out of this than it is. If hiding the name of the store was that big a deal to you, you never would have posted that you got it at a B & M in the first place.

I dont really want to get in between you two... or three now, but i dont see what the big deal is of telling Sessa the name of the store or even the lack of response to his requests. At have the courtesy to do that.
