I loved this movie in the theater & even more at home! The short cartoon "Knick Knack" is fantastic as well! Plenty of special features, plus Easter eggs. WOW!
Did they, um, re-inflate the mermaid for the dvd?

I agree.

Anyone else notice big glowing orange halos around Marlin and Nemo at certain points? You can also see them around Marlin and Nemo's mom, at the beginning. They look really digital to me, and I don't remember seeing them in the theater. They aren't edge-enhancement halos, but they seem as if they've been added for some kind of underwater "glow" effect.
As already stated those are intentional, but what bothers me is beyond the colored halos, i'm seeing another halo. Look at the scene where Dory is asking why Marlin is following her (do ya? do ya? DO YA?) Its like they are in a bubble, thats really the only part I can notice it in so far. Is this just my TV? I have a 32" Vega.

Sorry for resurrecting a dead thread, but no one answered your question...

Not only did they not re-inflate the mermaid, even as a hidden feature, but they didn't even mention the changes in the commentary. In my opinion, the short is many times funnier with the exaggerated breasts than no breast, at all.
