Robert Rodriguez mentioned something about it quite a while ago, and now that he's done the series(and Once Upon A Time In Mexico)maybe now he'll get a chance to do it. The only movie I'd look forward to in the set would be the Spy Kids SE that has been long in the making. Other than that, the existing edition of Spy Kids 2(and the upcoming Spy Kids 3)should be fine for me.

Do you think that they will make SPY KIDS SE available separately or just as part of a box collection. This has kept me from buying part 2 and the soon to be released 3rd installment. I have no problem buying the 3rd movie as it does have special features, but the first and second are totally devoid of extras. Any news in the pipeline? Thanks.

I couldn't say, but if I had to make a guess I'd say that it would only be available in the set. Miramax did the same thing with the Scream boxed set--Scream 2 was an exclusive SE for quite a while before it was available separately. You never know, though, and I'd wait for an official announcement from the studio before making any assumptions.

He did say Directors cuts of each film!
maybe He can make them into PG13 films
that would be fun, as they are on the edge of kiddie to adult film anyway.
I too wait in hope of something special for 1, 2 and 3, and soon.
