Does anybody know if there is a 2-disc "About a Boy" on the way? Reason I ask is because I just picked up the one disc, which is fairly new, but it was only $15 - and I don't really think it was one sale.

i haven't heard anything about a new one getting released...i wouldn't think this would be getting a new release anytime soon

The edition that is out is a fine enough edition for me. I'm not too sure what else could be included to make it a 2-disc set either. The one that's out now has a commentary track, deleted scenes, a making-of doc, and a music video. What other material could there be to expand it into a 2-disc set?

In the future, when starting new threads, please use a question mark in the title if your asking a question? The way the title reads now could easily be interprited as you having information about a new re-release of About A Boy as a 2-disc set, when in fact your just asking questions. Your title should have read something like...

Any possibility of a 2-disc special edition of About A Boy?

The current 1-disc is pretty packed enough. Audio commentary with the directors, an 11 minute featurette about the film, 14 minutes worth of deleted scenes, a 22 minute interview with Badly Drawn Boy, 2 music videos, trailers, and a few other items.

For $15, it's a pretty good deal.

I'd love to see a 2-disc SE if it were possible. I'm pleased with the current single disc though.

There are no plans for a 2-disc About a Boy, if that's your question.

Doesn't mean it can't happen. It's unlikely, though. The current disc is really good. I'd recommend picking it up, especially if you can get it for a good price.

I bought mine for about $8 on eBay early in the year.
