I'm on the 3 out plan..was on 5 but dropped it back. I had one out for 7 months. A horror my wife didn't want to watch so just kept sitting there. I buy too many now to take advantage of Netflix really. We only rent about 15 a year looking at my history and most of that has been Soprano's. Turnaround time for me has improved recently too. About 2-3 days now.

Also grandfathered in (4/per) and turnaround is 1-2 days.

I was a member for about six months last year. turn around was at least a week. 9 discs a month was the best I could do. so I dropped it. only got one movie that was damaged. If i could get 2 day turn around I might be tempted to rejoin. but doubt it.

I'm in Nevada and most of my discs come from the Santa Ana distribution center, the turnaround is about 4 days give or take. I'm using the 3 out/unlimited a month, though I'd love to have the 5 or 8 out.

I'm currently a 3 disc out guy. I recently switched from 5 out when I realized none of the discs I had rented interested me nearly as much as the stuff I already owned that I wanted to watch.

Turnaround is usually 4-5 days. About 3 days for them to get it and we usually get it 2 days after they send it out. Once, I dropped the movies off at the post office 30 mins. before their last pickup and I had the next batch of movies in our mailbox 2 days later. So, just leaving the discs in our box for mail pickup is really slowing things down before the post office gets it where it's going.

My turn around is one day (so far) and I am on the 3 out at a time.

Anyone in Hawaii using NetFlix? My parents are thinking about joining so I'd like to collect some experiences for them first.

Thanks for all the responses. I was just trying to get an idea of how fast turnaround was for others. It looks like I live in the wrong place I only WISH I had a 2-3 day turnaround. They aren't planning a distribution center in Seattle are they? I've actually been a member of Netflix since before they started the Marquee plan (back when they called it that). It used to be 4 out at a time for $16 a month!
