I picked up the R0 Special Edition today. The cover is too cool (has that 3-D effect) and I wasn't sure if the R1 was going to be barebones.

I was checking out the disc to make sure it worked and the opening credits had me creeped out.

bah.....

i don't understand what people see in this movie.. i hated this movie. suspense was a little flat and wasn't scary. maybe it's because i saw this on VCD and it doesn't have that audio effect it's supposed to have.

Could be. I originally saw Ring on VCD, but watching the R1 DVD was much creepier due to the enhanced audio (watching it on a sunny afternoon, to boot).

Here's the backcover of the R1 Eye. Not packed, but definitely not barebones.
