I'm a #2 for the most part, except for the buying blind simply to increase the overall numbers. Not that that's a bad thing, but I like checking out movies I haven't seen before that are recommended by others.

Level 2.1 I really enjoy "researched" blind buys and even truly blind buys. I enjoy films and this has been an enjoyable way to find interesting films. If I kept all the DVD's I have owned I would have about 1500, but instead my collection is 640. I don't buy just to increase the size of my collection, but to increase the variety and quality of it.

I'm Level 3, but I don't buy movies that I don't like. And if I blind buy a movie and it turns out I don't like it, I get rid of it. I'm under 1500 at this point in time.

Level 2. Now that I'm out of college and got a real job, maybe I'll be Level 3 someday. But right now, I'm not that big on blind buys. I just buy the DVD's I really really want to see. That and the monthly WWE DVD.
