Although you can't tell from IMDB, I don't think she was a fly girl in the first season (matter of fact, I don't think she was added 'til the third season or something).

Anyway, can a US actor block a release? I thought that was pretty much limited to British releases due to the way their actor's union, Equity, is set up. I don't think US actors are in any place to block a release just because they don't want it to come out (Sandra Bullock didn't want her early "semi-topless" movie "Fire on the Amazon" to come out several years ago, but it did anyway).

If i remember from the reruns that used to be on FX..i believe J. Lo wasnt around untill 2nd or 3rd season. Besides, why would she care? She wasnt on the show that much and all she did was dance...its not like she got naked in every episode.

And i am rather curious as to how Sandra Bullock could be "semi-topless" What, was a nipple almost shown?

Homie the clown was my favorite part about In Living Color when it was on tv, because I was in the 4th grade and didn't really get anything else except Handyman. And I didn't think that sketch was very nice.
Yes, it's in the works.

I'm glad to hear that this will be a complete season set and not a best-of set.

Mad TV has a lot of great skits & talent. Almost lost a lung watching the "7AM Condo Report" skit!

Looks like it's been delayed. From TVShowsOnDVD.com:
Fox Home Entertainment has changed the release date for In Living Color - Season 1. Instead of the 2/3/04 date which was announced earlier, they have now penciled it in for April 1st. We think this is an error, becauase that is a Thursday, and DVDs always hit the street on Tuesdays (and the odd Friday). Nevertheless, we have reason to believe that the actual new street date is in April or May...stay tuned, and we'll update you after we can get in touch with Fox and clear this up.

Ripped from IGN:

We've got some details on the forthcoming In Living Color DVD set, due on April 6 of this year at a suggested price of $39.99. The three-disc set will break down as follows:

Disc 1: Pilot, The Wrath of Farrakhan, Lean On Me Beautiful, Transitions, A Date With Grace Jones.. Commentaries on select episodes, featurette "Looking Back In Living Color - The First Season".

Disc 2: Jheri's Kids, Don King - The Early Years, Endangered Species, Introducing…Homey D. Clown, Vera Dimilo. Commentary on episode 7 by Tommy Davidson.

Disc 3: Anton in The People's Court, Conspiracy, Homey D. Clown Returns. Commentary on selected episodes, "In Living Color - The First Season" featurette, "Back in Step with the Fly Girls" featurette, HBO Comedy Festival 2001.

Homey don't play dat, but we do, and we can't wait to play dat DVD.

steebo777, for each disc you listed only a couple episodes. Are these all the episodes/skits for season 1?

The 2 month delay is a bummer, but the whole announcement of this release gets 3 snaps... in Z formation!
