note that they're included at the beginning of each episode - you can't select them alone from the main menu.

I'm not sure how "annoying" it is - at least not to me. They only show you the previous scenes that are important for the upcoming episode's storylines - they do the same thing with Alias.

Is it along the lines of what they did with Season One with just the quick recap of Jack saying terrorists are attempting to assasinate Palmer, his family is targeted and people he works with are involved in both and how it's the longest day in his life?

I just finished Season One the other night and have just seen the first episode of Season Two.

As I say after the end of each episode "I hate this frigging show, let's watch the next episode, yes I know I have to work in the morning."

no.. it's an actual recap of important scenes from the last episode.. no jack narration..

my wife does the same thing... when we get a chance to watch it, it's usually 3-4 episodes in one sitting. you just can't get away from this show!

we're at the last episode in s2, but prolly won't be able to watch it till sunday night.. the thing that sucks is that i've been seeing the previews for s3, and i really want to watch it, but i have to hold back. what i should have done was waited until s3 had started before i started watching s2..

I am the same way mkdevo. I always sit down to watch usually 1 or 2 eps then end up watching the entire disc, and then usually 1 or 2 eps from the next disc.

No way I'd watch Season 3 on broadcast. I'd go crazy waiting a whole week to find out what happens next. Have to wait for the DVDs!!!

I find the previously's annoying on DVD. I just finished the previous episode 1 minute ago, and don't need a recap.

I agree, but that's what chapter skip is for.

Except when the next chapter stop skips part of the show.

I hate how sometimes skipping to the next chapter takes you to the beginning of the new episode, and sometimes it takes you past the beginning of the episode. Can't they be consistent?

YES! I also refuse to watch it (assuming I would even remember when it's on) and always wait for the DVDs. Every episode is a cliffhanger! Can't wait til the 3rd season comes out!
