hey, it's Universal you never know if a DTS will materalize or not, DTS and Universal are a lost cause IMO.

You'll have to wait until the "Tricked Out" Edition.

Yeah, but the Tricked Out edition of the first film didn't have DTS but the first realese did. Not that I plan on picking this one up.

There is no DTS, but the Dolby Digital 5.1 track is pretty damn good.

Man talk about your misleading advertising. Is there a more reviled studio out there than Universal?

The only way I'd buy this flick is with DTS and a review that said it was kick-*** sounding.

No problem, I can wait. Plenty of stuff to spend my money on.

As of late, Universal has relegated dts to a selling point.

So, if it's going to be a big seller, they'll ditch dts in favor of extras.

Hulk - no dts
2 Fast 2 Furious - no dts.

But, if it's a catalog title or more obscure release with little or no supplemental material...

For Love Or Money,
The Breakfast Club,
The Money Pit,
Weird Science... all with dts.

Does this mean a "Collector's Edition" later on? Possibly, but I wouldn't count on it, unless they release newer versions to help hawk a sequel.

My bad, I just remember people complaining that the Tricked Out Edition didn't have the DTS. Maybe I was trippin' or something...

I picked it up today and I'm really disappointed with this release. It looks like half of the bonus features were regergitated from the Tricked Out Edition, which I did buy cause I lost the first release I had. I like the movie a lot but it pissed me off that they said Tricked Out would have all these "THRILLING EXCLUSIVE" features. Oh well they got me on this one.
