In response to the monthly "Will that 70s show be on dvd?" thread...
I'd love to have this show on DVD. Haven't heard any word yet but I'm waiting for it, along with Seinfeld.

I would be surprised if they release this soon though. It hasn't been in syndication that long and it is a hit in syndication. Why kill the cash cow and release DVDs right now? Just looking at it from the studio's point. This is one of my most wanted television shows on DVD, right along with News Radio.

Fox doesn't own That 70's Show, and the company that does (Carsey-Werner) also owns a boatload of other hits that aren't on DVD. Among others are: Roseanne, 3rd Rock From The Sun, Grace Under Fire, A Different World, Cosby, and The Cosby Show.
The last one is represented on DVD via Columbia House, and none of the others have even made it that far to my knowledge.
I've written to the folks at several DVD sites, and noone seems to know what Carsey-Werner's plan is in regard to DVDs...if any.
