Apocolypse Now, Top Gun, Big Lebowski and the JFK set...
All great ideas! |
On the Pee-wee's Big Adventure dvd it needs to have the Pee-wee Herman Show from 1981, this is the original one that started it all, and had great comic Phil Hartman as Kap'n Karl, this isn't the saturday morning version but a more adult stage theatre group version. Way funnyer then anything he had gone on to do.
It would be a big mistake to do a boxset of Peewees work and to not have this little short gem in it. |

I'll Do Anything: The Musical
There has to be a terrific story behind that if any of the footage wasn't destroyed. |
Originally posted by abintra I'll Do Anything: The Musical There has to be a terrific story behind that if any of the footage wasn't destroyed. Filmed as a musical with eight songs by 'Prince' , but ironically test screenings indicated they should be removed. In the beginning of the film, we see a reference to Powers Boothe showing up at the Emmy Awards ceremony to collect the award he had won for playing Jim Jones in the middle of a Screen Actors Guild strike. Although Nick Nolte was not nominated for an Emmy that year, everything else shown about the incident really happened in September, 1980. A few shots were cut from the original R-rated version to receive a PG-13 rating. Just thought I'd be of some assistance. Ray |
Bill & Ted Duology
Excellent Adventure Exclusive Commentary by: Stephen Herek, Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter and George Carlin Why did Excellent Adventure get released in '89 instead of '88? (Probably would be a better title.) Bogus Journey Exclusive Commentary by: Peter Hewitt, Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter and Goeorge Carlin Both Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter Commentary (in character!) Behind the Scenes Make-up Tests Interviews: Then and Now Pre-Production Production Post-Production Deleted Scenes (if any, which I hope there are.) Easter Eggs (One about the status of Bill and Ted 3?) Restored picture and sound 16:9 only! DD ES 5.1 DTS EX 6.1 Usual subtitles... 2-DISC! This would suit me perfectly. Although I don't know if there's a high consumer demand for this. Maybe I could make a petition if I knew how... Any volunteers? |
The Sting.
