To have him depicted, by inference, as either some bozo stuck in the 50's or some oddball crank, is simply absurd.
No one has questioned Kubrick's ability as a filmmaker, or at least, certainly not me. Just about anyone that cares even a little about movies can recognize the man's skills, perhaps even genius.

However, Kubrick's eccentricities are not rumor and innuendo. Indeed, the man's weirdness is the stuff of legend. Of course, Kubrick is not the only artisticly gifted individual to act a few degrees off plumb.

I would hope that someday you will realize that it is possible for people to hold opinions that dissent from your own. I am sure that "Kobrick" and "Wheton" would agree, whoever they are.

Actually, for the most part, they are. Just that, when examined in the cold light of day. Frequent repetition and regurgitation of the same flawed anecdotes doesn't equal ultimate veracity..
