The Warlord (Chuck Heston) DVD OOP??

Is this really out of print (or going out of print)?? Amazon says it's unavailable from them but used/new starting at $32 (and up to 100!). I can't find any information as to why. I don't ususally buy from them anyway (use them as a wish list for my family).. but one of the sellers says it out of print.

Any info would be great.

(who bought this dvd for less than $11 shipped anyway.. gotta love the old Chuck)

The War Lord (This is the correct spelling of the title as it actually appears in the opening credits of the film.) was released by Goodtimes Home Video on 21 March 2000. It was a barebones release featuring only a trailer as bonus material. The transfer was superp. I purchased it for $5.95. This is typical of Goodtimes pricing. This may well be out of print at this point, however, I found it listed at the following:

Good luck. I highly recommend this DVD.

Thanks for the reccomendation, I just decided to blind buy this movie, hope I like it... Although seeing as I love old Charlton Heston flicks and have a love for knights in armour, I think I am safe investing the 10 bucks. (considering my average trip to the movies after popcorn and soda comes to nearly 30 bucks...)

I got it for 7.99 at Best Buy in Feb 2002. I still see it on the shelves on occasion. Check there before you pay huge amounts of money elsewhere.

It's a very good movie, by the way.
