I know that season one was released, but we really need the succseding episodes of The Larry Sanders Show. At this point, I'd settle for one or two BEST OF DVDs.

The two HBO shows which I really want on DVD in complete season sets are Tales From The Crypt and Arliss.

Other unreleased HBO shows:

The Edge (3-episode series)
Cosmic Slop
Strangers

My votes:
* Hardcore TV (so obscure, not even listed on IMDB). Really liked the Bob Ross "Joy of Painting" parodies, didn't care so much for Fly Fishin' Jam, though.

* The Hitchhiker (the HBO seasons only, and prefer the ORIGINAL version of the first three episodes get released, that had Nicholas Campbell as the Hitchhiker instead of the syndications that had all his stuff re-shot with Page Fletcher).

* Dream On

The person in the other thread is right about HBO's attitude, though. If the show hasn't been on in the past 3-4 years, HBO seems to pretend it never existed. With all of their different channels, you'd think there would be an outlet at least for reruns of Crypt and Dream On (why couldn't Dream On run on HBO Comedy), if not the other shows.

If it hasn't won an Emmy, they just don't want to know.

If this is the same The High Life about scottish flight attendants, that's available in r2.

The HBO The High Life was set in the US of the 1950's. Not the same.

Wasn't the animated Spawn on HBO? I can't remember, nor can I remember if it's on DVD. I need to know, and knowing is half the battle.

Besides Curb Your Enthusiasm, I'd love to have K Street on DVD. It's brilliantly fascinating. A nice break from the constant stream of monotony on television these days.

Jericho,

The animated Spawn was an HBO series, and it can be had quite cheaply right-each of the 3 DVD's can be found in various bargain bins for about $6-$7 each.

This thread brings back the memories. HBO really needs to add an HBO Classics channel.

No kidding. They have a ton of channels how hard would it be to convert one of them.

"IGNFF: So they should re-launch next year with the L.A. years, when he moves out to be a development executive.

DEMETRAL: Right... you know, a lot of people have talked about a reunion for that, and we're putting the show on DVD. I'd love to do that, I think that'd be really cool. We were really lucky to have such a good staff of writers, and lucky to have just a fantastic group of actors on it. I mean, Brian and Wendy and Dorien and Denny are just fantastic, and to be a 12-year-old actor just breaking in, and to learn under that foursome, was just absolutely fantastic"

Maybe this will get a dvd release.

Hope so.

According to Oz creator Tom Fontana's site, season 3 should be released on 2/24/04, and season 4 on 10/5/04.

Was Hardcore TV the show that featured the "It's a belt!"-Guy, the Princess who could Shit a Basketball, and Tom Villa's This Old Whorehouse?

I LOVED that show!!
